The Oxford Institute of Interdisciplinary Research (IIR) grew out of Immerse Education's transformative educational experiences. The Oxford IIR was founded to provide high-achieving high school students with the opportunity to engage in meaningful, university-level research.
Our mission is to cultivate intellectual independence, critical inquiry, and applied scholarship through structured, mentor-guided programs that emphasize depth, clarity, and interdisciplinary thinking.

Oxford IIR ensures that students’ academic achievements are formally recognised. Successful completion of our programmes confers the following awards:
8 UCAS points to contribute towards your university application, from an internationally recognised awarding body. Note: Available with Accredited or Publication Fellowships
Research Journal Publication, highlighting students' ability to create work that excels amongst their peers. Note: 1) Publication is only available on the Publication Research Programme 2) Publication is not guaranteed. Anywhere that guarantees publication is unlikely to be underpinned by true academic merit.
